This position is responsible for working cross-functionally with business operations teams and IT business analysts to identify areas for RPA implementation. This role will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of automations, while providing feedback and oversight to other RPA Developers.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions to automate business processes, activities, and tasks through RPA and enhanced workflow automation platform(s)
Ensure RPA solutions are stable, secure, and scalable
Monitor Bots post-deployment
Proactively fix bugs
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices
Participate in requirements gathering and solution design process
Develop reusable components, scripts, and frameworks for the Automation Library
Serve as a technical expert in meetings, interviews, and workshops with internal customers
Serve as the lead for Control Room/Orchestrator and RPA infrastructure management
Deploy RPA components including bots, development tools, code repositories and logging tools
Hands on process deployment and license management
Manage through UiPath version upgrades and general break/fix activity
Provide technical direction on design considerations, including performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, and audit
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes
Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization of RPA workflows
Provide feedback and tips to other RPA developers on projects
Oversight of ensuring that instructions and plans for implementation are being met.
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Strong understanding of RPA concepts, tools, and methodologies
Certified UiPath or Automation Anywhere Advanced RPA Professional (Required)
6 years’ experience as RPA Developer preferred
Experience in HTML, SQL or Java
Experience working as part of a collaborative team
Experience across the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support, and maintenance
Experience with process discovery, process mining, and process optimization
Understanding of database concepts and SQL queries for data manipulation and integration
Familiarity with cloud-based RPA solutions and deployment models
Ability to multitask and be self-paced to accomplish goals
Ability to lead and motivate others and teach technical skills
Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
